Assignments and Assessments

Assessment 

Assessment is a part of the learning process and is used to test and develop knowledge, understanding and skills. Typically assessment may be in the form of an assignment, exam, presentation or sometimes the creation of a product (e.g. video or poster). Some tests or exams may be completed online. These might be straightforward multiple choice tests or more sophisticated forms of online testing.

Assignments 

Assignments are usually submitted electronically. This work is sometimes assessed electronically with any grades, feedback and even annotations being added on screen. Alternatively, assignments may be printed off to produce a paper copy for marking in a more traditional manner.
