    The Bloomsbury Media Cloud Service

The Bloomsbury Media Cloud is a digital repository developed for the Bloomsbury Colleges. This innovative shared platform, hosted in the cloud, offers a quick and easy place to manage and share media content (e.g. video and audio files).

The Media Cloud can be used to compile, encode and store multimedia content so it can be managed in one place and flexibly disseminated. It can be used with new and existing content from a wide range of sources, which can be encoded from almost any file format into web-based media. In addition, unlike YouTube, content can be easily embedded free of any branding.

It can be used in many ways e.g. by academics who wish to embed videos into their blogs or websites; publicity departments that want to publish promotional videos on the web or research groups who need to disseminate podcasts of their works.
