Introduction to the Moodle interface

This course has been designed in a typical/default course format. If you’ve not already done so, take some time to explore what’s available on the screen (you can’t break the course!).

The page is divided into four main areas: a menu/navigation bar across the top and three columns. Typically, the main course content will be delivered in the middle column. However, Moodle courses can also be designed with two columns.

The left and right columns contain ‘blocks’. You will find that the content of each block is personalised to you, your courses and activity on the site.
